Have your say on Lochaber’s fu­ture

THE FU­TURE of Lochaber is to be dis­cussed at a ‘mar­ket place’ in Fort Wil­liam this Mon­day (Novem­ber 16).

Lochaber Com­mu­nity Plan­ning Part­ner­ship has in­vited the pub­lic to a drop-in ses­sion in coun­cil cham­bers to meet with part­ners of Lochaber Dis­trict Health, So­cial Care and Com­mu­nity Plan­ning Part­ner­ship and Lochaber Eco­nomic Devel­op­ment and Em­ploy­a­bil­ity Fo­rum.

Mem­bers of the groups will take ques­tions and ideas about ar­eas of devel­op­ment in the re­gion from 1.30pm un­til 2.30pm. The pub­lic is also in­vited to at­tend the part­ner­ship’s AGM which will be held at 1pm.

Agen­cies and or­gan­i­sa­tions at­tend­ing in­clude High­land Coun­cil, NHS High­land, Po­lice Scot­land, Scot­tish Canals, High Life High­land, Lochaber Hous­ing As­so­ci­a­tion, Forestry Com­mis­sion Scot­land, Vol­un­tary Ac­tion Lochaber and the West High­land Col­lege UHI.
