QUEEN Street Sta­tion in Glas­gow, the start and end point for rail ser­vices to and from the West High­lands, will be closed from March 20 un­til Au­gust 6, 2016 for re­fur­bish­ment.

David Gal­lant, Oban com­mu­nity Coun­cil trans­port spokesman told fel­low coun­cil­lors by email: ‘Trains to Oban and Mal­laig will use the Queen Street low level sta­tion. Some ser­vices will ter­mi­nate at Spring­burn and some ser­vices will have re­place­ment buses for all or part of the route.’
