THINK Highland games, killer midges and an evil uncle and this is the plot for this year’s Kinlochleven High School Christmas show.

The annual festive performance in South Lochaber grows in popularity every year and this year’s Glen of Thrones: A Winter Star will be no exception.

A joint production between the school and local theatre group Dramafish, pupils are playing a part in every aspect of the show, from characters to costumes and lighting, with the help of teachers and the Kinlochleven community.

Rebecca Machin, head teacher at Kinlochleven high, will play a part in the play.

She said: ‘It is sure to be a wonderful performance. I would encourage people to buy their tickets quickly because it is sure to be a sell- out.’

Glen of Thrones: A Winter Star will take place in Kinlochleven High School’s theatre from December 9 until December 12. Information about how to buy tickets will be available soon.
