CHRISTMAS wouldn’t be Christmas without a Nativity play and the children of Tarbert recently put on a charming example.
Reverend Stanley Hood took the service, on the fourth Sunday of Advent, at Tarbert Parish Church, emphasising the true meaning of Christmas. The children performed with enthusiasm and every one was a star including Ellie Stuart who played the Star of Bethlehem. Mary was played by Charlie MacKenzie, King Herod was played by Robbie McNair, Alana Duncan was a shepherd and Jack Stuart played a wise man. The stellar performances by all of the children were greeted with well- deserved applause from the congregation before the actors left the stage for refreshments.
