New structure for Lochaber Jog Scotland
A NEW year means a new structure for Lochaber Jog Scotland as organisers hope to help all runners progress.
The athletic group has split into three groups: beginners, intermediate one and intermediate two, although all members will take part in a mix of training including hills, speed work and flat runs.
Beginners will be for new starts and returning joggers and will work towards three miles over the first part of the year, before moving up to six miles.
Runners in intermediate one will have successfully completed the beginners group and will work towards 10 kilometres in an hour.
Intermediate two will be the group for faster paced runners, working towards a two-hour half marathon.
