Pupils make the grade at de­bate

TWO ARD­NA­MUR­CHAN high school pupils made it to the fi­nal of a na­tional Gaelic speak­ing de­bate.

Rona Nicol­son and Char­lie-Anne Plem­ing, both fifth years, achieved the high­est marks of the 20 teams com­pet­ing in the Stornoway qual­i­fiers of the Na­tional Gàidhlig De­bate and trav­elled to Ed­in­burgh for the fi­nals at the Scot­tish Par­lia­ment.
