Vaccinations for young people
YOUNG people in the Western Isles are being invited to participate in the national vaccination programme for protection against meningitis and septicaemia.
Appointments will be sent to all people aged 14 to 18 years between January and March. The programme in the Western Isles is based in GP practices rather than in schools, unlike the rest of Scotland.
If you have a child aged 14 to 18 years, or you are in the age group and wish to be vaccinated, look out for your letter or contact your GP practice directly.
