A NEW creative group at Kinlochleven High School has been launched and will stage a special gig in Fort William this spring.

Many students at the school enjoy drama, art, singing and playing instruments, including the horn, bass guitar, euphonium, violin and much more.

The musical pupils have found a home in RockSkool, a locally-run music group

in Kinlochleven. The group performed as part of the recent play, titled Glen of Thrones:

Winter Star. They have also played at school assemblies.

RockSkool aims to help people either build on their skill in groups and on stage, or to help people to learn how to play music, of any genre.

Pupils of all ages are now collaborating for

Dance Platform, an eight- minute takeover of Eden Court Theatre, to be held in April, which will see pupils taking part in dance, drama, music and art, and using their talents to contribute to an amazing experience.

This is the first year the school has staged

Dance Platform. Already a huge amount of work is being put into the final performance, which the school hopes will be spectacular.

Pictured are pupils from Kinlochleven who took part in the recent Glen of

Thrones performance.
