Celtic Connections almost over

The Oban Times - - Letters -

I THINK everyone in Glasgow is looking forward to the final weekend of Celtic Connections - and perhaps life returning to some kind of normality in February after a fantastic month of music.

I am unbelievably excited for our sold out Skipinnish gig this Saturday night in the Royal Concert Hall.

I still cannot believe, and neither can any of the boys, that the main auditorium is sold out - and I’m looking forward to catching up with friends in the audience.

Then, the following day, I am heading down to the City Halls to watch the final of the Young Traditional Musician of the Year. It is a great line-up of talent as always, so I’m sure - whoever wins - it will be an enjoyable afternoon.
