Pupils make fi­nal of film com­pe­ti­tion

TAL­ENTED pupils at Lochaber High School have reached the fi­nal of a film-mak­ing com­pe­ti­tion.

FilmG is an an­nual com­pe­ti­tion that en­cour­ages any­one to make a short film, doc­u­men­tary, com­edy or any other genre, in Gaelic.

Lochaber High School cre­ated a film,

which sees host Dav­ina At­ten­bor­ough take a hu­mor­ous look at school life.

The film has now been short­listed for the youth sec­tion of the awards.

The Lochaber team will face stiff com­pe­ti­tion from Ding­wall Academy, Tain Royal Academy, Mal­laig High School, Gairloch High School and Ard­na­mur­chan High School, which have also been short­listed.

Vot­ing is open on the FilmG web­site and the win­ners will be an­nounced at an event at the Old Fruit­mar­ket in Glas­gow on Fe­bru­ary 19.
