On course to in­vest in young peo­ple

THERE are free places avail­able at work­shops for busi­nesses work­ing to­wards the in­vestors in young peo­ple stan­dard.

In­vestors in Peo­ple Scot­land is hold­ing two, day-long cour­ses across the High­lands to train peo­ple on how to de­velop a strat­egy and im­ple­ment an ac­tion plan. The dates in Lochaber are Fe­bru­ary 10 and Fe­bru­ary 24. Free places are open to pri­vate com­pa­nies with fewer than 250 em­ploy­ees.

In­vestors in Peo­ple Scot­land, which aims to en­cour­age busi­nesses to em­ploy and sup­port young peo­ple, are run­ning the cour­ses. Al­though the course is free, com­pa­nies are asked to pay £20 for lunch and re­fresh­ments. Places are lim­ited to one per com­pany.
