Do you care? We can help

Carers Week 2016 runs from June 6 to 12

-

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities.

Come and visit us at North Argyll Carers Centre this week and find out more of what we do to support carers across Oban, Lorn and the isles.

During Carers Week we will have our regular weekly coffee morning on Tuesday June 7 from 11am with a talk on reablement. On Thursday we will have Heather Noller from Carers Trust talking about the new Carers Act and what it will mean for carers.

We currently offer ongoing one to one support, weekly coffee morning, therapies, counselling, support groups, social outings, respite opportunities, training and activities, a young carers service, an outreach support worker for carers on islands and rural mainland carers.

We also offer Oban Hospice Community Services where there is a service supporting those with life limiting conditions and their families.

We can also offer Carer Support Plans to support you in your caring role.

If you or someone you know cares for someone, do get in contact and see how we can help you.

Everyone is welcome and our service is confi dential.
