Charlotte, who was sponsored by Oban Rotary Club, said: ‘I have loved photography since I was three years old. My passion grew when I went to America on holiday where I always took the camera and took my own pictures, and it was great.
‘I was nine when I entered a local horticultural show and I got prizes for the pictures I submitted.
‘My school told me about this Rotary competition and I was excited to take part and went round taking lots of pictures. I was very shocked, amazed and extremely pleased to hear that I had won Rotary’s competition. It was a good thing to happen to me this week as my dad was having an operation and it cheered me up.’
Charlotte’s winning photograph, one of three submitted by her, was a waterfall scene at Glen Creran.
