TWO SUC­CESS­FUL events and a lot of sun re­sulted in June be­ing an above par month for Dal­mally Golf Club.

The club wel­comed a 28-strong group of en­thu­si­as­tic golfers from CalMac on June 3, with Ge­orge MacKen­zie win­ning the competition in the end.

The near­est the pin cat­e­gory was won by I and J Robert­son and G Mor­ri­son and K Warner drove the ball the far­thest.

The Dum­b­ar­ton Ar­gyll Ladies County Golf As­so­ci­a­tion made the jour­ney to the course on June 9, as part of their tour of the Scot­land’s best cour­ses.

Moira MacLeod from Mil­ngavie won the scratch prize, Josephine Mon­aghan from Dum­b­ar­ton was first in the sil­ver cat­e­gory, Bar­bara Robert­son from Dum­b­ar­ton won the bronze and Josephine Mon­aghan from Dum­b­ar­ton won Miss Hendry’s Quaich.

The 28-strong group of CalMac work­ers, who played at Dal­mally ear­lier this month.
