TWO SUCCESSFUL events and a lot of sun resulted in June being an above par month for Dalmally Golf Club.
The club welcomed a 28-strong group of enthusiastic golfers from CalMac on June 3, with George MacKenzie winning the competition in the end.
The nearest the pin category was won by I and J Robertson and G Morrison and K Warner drove the ball the farthest.
The Dumbarton Argyll Ladies County Golf Association made the journey to the course on June 9, as part of their tour of the Scotland’s best courses.
Moira MacLeod from Milngavie won the scratch prize, Josephine Monaghan from Dumbarton was first in the silver category, Barbara Robertson from Dumbarton won the bronze and Josephine Monaghan from Dumbarton won Miss Hendry’s Quaich.
