Iona is new head of wood­lands plan

A PART­NER­SHIP aim­ing to plant 500 hectares of new wood­land on crofts has ap­pointed a project of­fi­cer cov­er­ing Argyll and Lochaber.

Iona Hyde is avail­able to give free wood­land man­age­ment ad­vice and help with fund­ing ap­pli­ca­tions across the area, in­clud­ing the In­ner He­brides.

The Croft Wood­lands Project is a part­ner­ship be­tween Point and Sand­wick Trust, Forestry Com­mis­sion Scot­land, the Scot­tish Croft­ing Fed­er­a­tion and Wood­land Trust Scot­land.
