Band set to tour islands
ONE OF the most dynamic and engaging traditional Celtic music acts, The Outside Track, will be touring the Highlands and islands this summer.
Popular for their marriage of Celtic music, song and dance, The Outside Track has won many fans.
The band has been recognised with several industry awards, including Group of the Year in the Live Ireland Awards, Ensemble of the Year in the Tradition in Review awards as well as nominations for Best Live Act and Folk Band of the Year.
Hailing from Scotland, Ireland and Cape Breton, the band is united by a love of traditional music. Among their dates are July 30 – The Ceilidh House and Heritage Centre, Corran, Arnisdale; August 1 – Astley Hall, Arisaig; August 2 – Isle of Colonsay, Village Hall; and August 3 – Atlantic Islands Centre, Isle of Luing.
