Band set to tour is­lands

ONE OF the most dy­namic and en­gag­ing tra­di­tional Celtic mu­sic acts, The Out­side Track, will be tour­ing the High­lands and is­lands this sum­mer.

Pop­u­lar for their mar­riage of Celtic mu­sic, song and dance, The Out­side Track has won many fans.

The band has been recog­nised with sev­eral in­dus­try awards, in­clud­ing Group of the Year in the Live Ire­land Awards, En­sem­ble of the Year in the Tra­di­tion in Re­view awards as well as nom­i­na­tions for Best Live Act and Folk Band of the Year.

Hail­ing from Scot­land, Ire­land and Cape Bre­ton, the band is united by a love of tra­di­tional mu­sic. Among their dates are July 30 – The Ceilidh House and Heritage Cen­tre, Cor­ran, Ar­nis­dale; Au­gust 1 – Ast­ley Hall, Ari­saig; Au­gust 2 – Isle of Colon­say, Vil­lage Hall; and Au­gust 3 – At­lantic Is­lands Cen­tre, Isle of Lu­ing.
