GLENCRUITTEN stood up remarkably well considering the rainfall leading up to the Open – a testament to the skills of Dougie MacIntyre and green staff.
Phillip Murphy won the Glencruitten Open on Saturday with a score of 63. David McCuish was second on 64, and Cameron Milne third on 67.
In the Chrysler- Sunbeam Trophy Alan Jamieson was the winner with a score of 73 – 12 = 61 (bih) from Andrew McHardy, and Graham McColl took third place with a score of 67 – 4 = 63. Alan Jamieson also had a hole in one at the 17th.
Duncan Forgrieve won the Wellpark Trophy with a score of 78 – 17 = 61. Graham Darling was runner up with a score of 80 – 18 = 62. www.facebook.com/obantimes
