Glen­cruit­ten

GLEN­CRUIT­TEN stood up re­mark­ably well con­sid­er­ing the rain­fall lead­ing up to the Open – a tes­ta­ment to the skills of Dougie MacIn­tyre and green staff.

Phillip Mur­phy won the Glen­cruit­ten Open on Satur­day with a score of 63. David Mc­Cuish was sec­ond on 64, and Cameron Milne third on 67.

In the Chrysler- Sun­beam Tro­phy Alan Jamieson was the win­ner with a score of 73 – 12 = 61 (bih) from An­drew McHardy, and Gra­ham McColl took third place with a score of 67 – 4 = 63. Alan Jamieson also had a hole in one at the 17th.

Dun­can For­grieve won the Well­park Tro­phy with a score of 78 – 17 = 61. Gra­ham Dar­ling was run­ner up with a score of 80 – 18 = 62. www.face­book.com/oban­times
