There are always a few scary sights out and about in Glasgow on a typical weekend, but last weekend was particularly bonkers as the streets were filled with people in fancy dress costumes for Hallowe’en.
The ‘teuchter triangle’ (that famous section of the West End between the Park Bar, the Islay Inn and the Snaffle Bit) is a scary place at the best of times.
More Highlanders have been known to go missing for days in there than have ever been lost within the Bermuda Triangle.
This weekend, the triangle saw its fair share of interesting costumes.
Dùn Mòr, for example, dressed up as vampires for their gig in the Park Bar on Sunday night which was quite a surreal sight.
In my opinion, however, no costume this year came anywhere close to beating last year’s sterling effort from Trail West’s Seonaidh MacIntyre from South Uist.
Seonaidh ingeniously played upon his striking resemblance to Father Dougal from hit television series
Father Ted. You can look at the picture and argue among yourselves which one is Father Dougal and which one is Seonaidh.
