FRIENDS of Glen Ne­vis will hold its au­tumn lit­ter pick and curl­ing ponds tidy up on Sun­day Novem­ber 20 from 10.30am to 3.30pm.

Any­one will­ing to help should meet at the Ben Ne­vis High­land Cen­tre (Woollen Mill) at 10.30am. Equip­ment and lunch will be pro­vided. Fort Wil­liam Ma­rina and Shore­line Com­pany Lim­ited is host­ing the event at the Lime Tree be­tween 2pm and 8pm. A SALE of used ski gear will be held at the Auc­tion Mart on Ne­vis Range Road on Satur­day Novem­ber 19.

Any­one with items to sell should ar­rive from 9am, with the sale open be­tween 11.30am and 2.30pm. All un­sold kit must be re­moved by 3.30pm. A small per­cent­age of the sale price will go the Scot­tish Ski Club Lochaber Sec­tion funds. Call Gre­gor Muir on 07710 721800 for more in­for­ma­tion. LOCHABER Pip­ing So­ci­ety will be hold­ing its pip­ing recital on Satur­day Novem­ber 12 at 7.30pm at Ben Ne­vis Dis­tillery. Ad­mis­sion £4, chil­dren free. INNSEAGAN Ho­tel is host­ing a Stand up to Cancer event on Satur­day Novem­ber 12.

Any­one go­ing along should wear their wack­i­est slip­pers to be in with a chance to win a prize. The night kicks off at 7.30pm with live mu­sic, buf­fet and raf­fle. CAOL in Bloom will hold its an­nual gen­eral meet­ing on Tues­day Novem­ber 15 in Caol Com­mu­nity Cen­tre at 7.30pm. Every­one wel­come.
