Biker just escapes losing his licence

A SPEEDING biker who pled guilty to driving at 90 miles per hour along the Arrivain straight on the A85 near Tyndrum narrowly avoided losing his licence at Oban Sheriff Court on Monday.

Neil Grant, of East Kilbride, came to the attention of police on June 4 after he drove at excessive speed in the 60mph area. Sheriff Ruth Anderson QC fined Grant £300 and gave him six penalty points.
