A PARKED car was struck by a mov­ing ve­hi­cle on Satur­day Oc­to­ber 22 in the car park out­side Sammy’s fish and chip shop in Caol. Po­lice are ap­peal­ing for in­for­ma­tion about the ve­hi­cle which struck the parked car.

THE jet wash and vac­uum at Onich fill­ing sta­tion have been dam­aged and money has been stolen. Po­lice be­lieve the in­ci­dent hap­pened be­tween 9.30pm on Sun­day Oc­to­ber 30 and 9.30am on Mon­day Oc­to­ber 31.

TWO Fort Wil­liam shops were robbed last month. Two men stole items from Semi Chem and Boots on Fort Wil­liam High Street on Mon­day Oc­to­ber 31. The first male is de­scribed as be­ing in his ‘late twen­ties to early thir­ties, thin with sharp fa­cial fea­tures, brown hair, wear­ing a navy jacket and jeans and car­ry­ing a ruck­sack’. Po­lice say the sec­ond male ‘is in his fifties with black hair, wear­ing a black jacket, black jog­ging trousers with a lu­mi­nous yel­low/green tammy hat’. The men were last seen near Tesco Metro, High Street, Fort Wil­liam.

COPPER pip­ing was stolen from the Ne­vis Range hy­dro project be­tween 6pm on Fri­day Oc­to­ber 28 and 4pm on Mon­day Oc­to­ber 31.

YOUTHS have been seen en­ter­ing the old Lochy­side RC Pri­mary School build­ing. Po­lice are look­ing to iden­tify the group, who were seen at the premises on Mon­day Oc­to­ber 31 at 7.45pm, to ‘pro­vide safety ad­vice re­gard­ing en­ter­ing a dis­used build­ing’.

THERE was a break- in at Let­terfin­lay Food last month. Items were stolen from the com­pany’s out­side shed at An­nat In­dus­trial Es­tate be­tween 5pm on Mon­day Oc­to­ber 31 and 7am on Tues­day Novem­ber 1. Po­lice are ap­peal­ing for in­for­ma­tion.

TWO ve­hi­cles, which were parked in a car park at Mo­ray Place, sus­tained dam­aged be­tween Fri­day Oc­to­ber 28 and Mon­day Oc­to­ber 31. Po­lice would like to hear from any­one who may have in­for­ma­tion on how the dam­age was caused.

ON THE evening of Sun­day Oc­to­ber 30, two ve­hi­cles in the Moor­ings Ho­tel car park, Banavie, were dam­aged. A Subaru For­rester and a Volk­swa­gen Scirocco sus­tained dam­age caused by an un­known ve­hi­cle.

Any­one with in­for­ma­tion re­lat­ing to any of these in­ci­dents is asked to call the po­lice in Fort Wil­liam on 101.
