Days gone by … women at the Mòd

Marie MacInnes, who now lives in Glasgow, wrote to us to say: ‘ I refer to your preview of this year’s Royal National Mòd in The Oban Times dated October 13, and specifically to the photograph on page 18 which referred to Kenneth Thompson’s coo-ing women. You asked if anyone knew them. They are, left to right, Ann MacDonald (wearing glasses), Mary Ann MacKinnon, Ishbel Lamont (Mòd gold medallist), Jan Docherty and Ann MacDonald.
