Donors splash out £800 for pool

MORE than £800 has been raised for Mallaig pool this month, with several personal donations made towards the £1 million refurbishment. One donation was from Dr Helen Palmer and her daughter Chantelle, who donated £200 after winning the friends of Mallaig swimming pool 500 Club jackpot.

Feis na Mara donated £600. And the Co- op in Mallaig has chosen the centre as one of its Local Causes.
