Meeting to focus on estate plans

EAST Lochaber and Laggan Community Trust are organising a series of community meetings next month.

Chairman John Hutchison said: ‘ We will be holding another round of community meetings to bring members up to date with the actions taken during 2016 and outlining how we see the next steps in taking forward our aim of community ownership of the former Rio Tinto Estate. We are keen to hear members’ views.

Meetings will be as follows: Monday February 6, Spean Bridge Community Centre, 7 to 8.30pm; Tuesday February 7, Leven Centre, Kinlochleven, 7 to 8.30pm; Wednesday February 8, Kilmallie Community Centre, Corpach, 7 to 8.30pm; and Thursday February 9, Laggan Village Hall, 7 to 8pm.
