NEW season of exhibitions at the Lime Tree Gallery. The award-winning Lime Tree Gallery in Fort William announces the first show of the new season for spring/summer 2017.

Andy Spink: A Retrospective opens 16th February for four weeks, showcasing the work of Mountain Guide and local artist Andy Spink.

Andy, a graduate of Cardiff School of Art has worked in some of the world’s most dramatic landscapes for over thirty years. This exhibition of his work covers the period 1980 to present.

Many of the works have not been shown before in the UK and illustrate the importance that the wild landscapes in which Andy works have on his painting style. The show offers a fascinating insight into a mountaineer and artist’s relationship to the landscape.

This exhibition is run in conjunction with Fort William Mountain Festival.

Owner David Wilson said: ‘This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the work of a local artist, and we are delighted to be a part of the Mountain Festival – one of the major events of the year in Fort William.’

The gallery is open from 10am to 10pm, Tuesday to Saturday. Admission to the gallery is free. Visit our website
