Ben Nevis Distillery

-

Ben Nevis Distillery has been building on its success since its establishment in 1825. It is one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland and continues to go from strength to strength.

The distillery is nestled at the foot of Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, which has a summit elevation of 4,4006 feet above sea level. Incorporated within Ben Nevis Distillery is The Legend of the Dew of Ben Nevis Visitor Centre, built into an old warehouse dating from 1862 and former bottling hall, which still retains some of its original features.

There is a conducted tour of the production areas by a trained guide which concludes with a complementary ‘tasting’.

After your tour around the distillery relax with a refreshment or if you are hungry, try some of their delicious home- cooking in the coffee shop and restaurant. The whisky shop is stocked with a large range of select whiskies, Scottish books and interesting gifts.
