Fort William 13 Caithness 0

The Fort William second team were too strong for non-league Caithness, winning 13- 0 in their noon throw-up at An Aird.

Mark Fraser gave Fort the lead in three minutes and Scott Henderson added a second 10 minutes later and there was only going to be one winner.

Scott Henderson got his second on 15 minutes and Mark Fraser did likewise on 24 minutes.

Lachie Shaw made it 5- 0 on 31 minutes and Victor Smith added a sixth four minutes later.

Victor Smith got his second five minutes after the restart and Bobby MacMillan added his name to the scoresheet to make it 8- 0 on the hour. Mark Fraser completed his hat-trick five minutes after and Bobby MacMillan took the Fort to double figures with 10 minutes remaining.

There was no respite for Caithness as Fort William added three more goals during the closing stages.

Paul Paterson made it 11- 0 just a minute after MacMillan’s second and Scott Henderson completed his hat-trick with a minute remaining.

A final minute goal from youngster Lachie Shaw, his second of the game, rounded off the 13- 0 win.

Fort William will now play Kinlochshiel’s second team in next month’s Strathdearn Cup second round.
