Stirling Gaelic Choir

The Oban Times - - Leisure -

If you enjoy a choir who put a smile on the faces of the audience, then An Evening with Stirling Gaelic Choir in the Victoria Hall, Dunblane, on Friday April 28 at 7.30pm, is for you.

When it comes to injecting a sense of fun into performances, Stirling Gaelic Choir are among the best in the business. I performed at their annual concert some years ago and the choir performance was full of personality - particularly once the concert was over and the horo gheallaidh began backstage.

More recently, I sang at a ceilidh in Perth for An Comunn Gaidhealach and the Stirling Gaelic Choir were in attendance. They invited me to join their ranks for a song or two and, once again, were adamant that I should attend a party afterwards - although this time I unfortunately had to give it a miss.

Head along to this concert if you want to be royally entertained by great music and craic. Just be careful to avoid the after-party.
