Children jump to it to raise funds
CHILDREN supported by Lochaber Autism Awareness Group raised more than £ 500 for the organisation by taking part in their annual sponsored bounce on Saturday April 1.
Fort William Bouncy Castle Hire supplied the group with an inflatable and the children bounced to raise £ 540.20.
Amie-Louise Wallace from the group said: ‘ This is the one time of the year when the children get to raise money for themselves. It gives them a real sense of achievement and team work.’
The Lochaber group has so far raised £ 835 during April which is Autism Awareness Month.
Schools and businesses in the area have been supporting the campaign to help people have a better understanding of the condition.
The children enjoy their sponsored bounce.
