Duror Primary School has Titanic open day

The Oban Times - - Districts -

DUROR Primary School pupils have been showing family and friends what they have been learning about the passenger ship Titanic.

All the children dressed up as their chosen character from the film and parents, families and community members were invited along to hear and see the children’s presentations on the topic.

The school thanked the parents for supporting and encouraging their children throughout the project.

A school spokesperson said: ‘This was a very interesting topic which motivated the children from the start. Everyone who attended wrote positive comments about the event on evaluation sheets provided by the children.

The open afternoon was well attended, with tea, coffee and cakes provided. Special thanks to parent Mrs MacNeill who baked Titanic-themed cakes.’

The children dressed up to show friends and family what they had been learning about the Titanic.
