Have a say on fu­ture of Ar­gyll

PEO­PLE in Ar­gyll and Bute are be­ing asked to fill out a sur­vey and help shape the fu­ture of the area.

Ar­gyll and Bute Coun­cil is seek­ing the views of the peo­ple with re­gard to pub­lic trans­port, hous­ing, recre­ation and ac­cess to jobs.

The sur­vey is called The Place Stan­dard and it has been de­vel­oped by the Scot­tish Gov­ern­ment, NHS Scot­land and Ar­chi­tec­ture and De­sign Scot­land as a way of as­sess­ing places.

Ar­gyll and Bute Coun­cil is us­ing it to gather in­for­ma­tion that will help to de­velop eco­nomic and com­mu­nity ini­tia­tives, and the area’s lo­cal de­vel­op­ment plan.

The lo­cal de­vel­op­ment plan sets out how land is used to sup­port the qual­ity of life and econ­omy of Ar­gyll and Bute.
