Argyll and Bute Council Easter football camps a big success
ARGYLL and Bute Council Football service ran its ever popular, fun-filled Easter football camps throughout the area over the two-week Easter break.
The camps were very well-attended with many courses fully booked.
The sessions worked on improving the young players’ footballing skills and technique and other important life skills that sport brings to youngsters including respect and resilience. This was achieved in a fantastic environment created by the coaches.
David Paterson, one of the coaches at the Oban camp, said: ‘Despite the weather, the children had a really enjoyable time, learning new skills and enjoying their football.
‘It’s very much about having fun while learning something new.’
