Competition antics not so bonnie

aber Times asking for copies of the paper after she was unable to find copies with the inserts still included – despite trying the Coops in Caol and Corpach, and the BP petrol station.

She said: ‘It’s very disheartening. I know it’s a competition and everybody wants their baby to win, but it’s nice to be fair.’

Lynsay Rowsell, Caol Co-op team leader, said: ‘Our manager caught a customer with six or seven supplements and told them they couldn’t have them without buying the paper so those were put back in.

‘However, a few days later, when we counted the papers, we found between 25 and 30 had no supplements.’
