Multi-agency emergency exercise at Oban Airport

A MAJOR multi-agency emergency exercise is taking place at Oban Airport on Saturday (April 29).

Members of the public may see activity by the emergency services at the airport and in the sea to the south.

The exercise is designed to test emergency responses and is required by the Civil Aviation Authority and in compliance with the Civil Contingencies Act.

The public are requested to stay clear of the area, including gillies path, between 10am and noon.
