Young farmers are real hot shots
BUDDING sharpshooters from Mid Argyll Young Farmers’ Club enjoyed a great day of shooting.
Welcomed recently by members of Tarbert Gun Club, the young farmers were taught the basics of clay-pigeon shooting and were well looked after.
It was soon on to the main event – a goodnatured competition.
Leading the way in the men’s contest was Harry Adair, while the women’s competition was won by Aileen Semple. The knockout competition was won by Cara MacInnes and the winning team was the Shooting Stars, made up of Ricky Rennie, Kit Marshall, Melissa Telfer and Aileen Semple, with help from Jack Campbell.
Mid Argyll Young Farmers thanked Tarbert Gun Club for the hospitality and support.
