The Oban Times - - News -

AN UP-AND- COMING folk band is to play in Caol this month.

Top Floor Taviers will be playing the Small Hall in Caol Community Centre on Friday May 19.

The band was recently nominated in the up-and- coming artist category at the 2016 MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards.

Top Floor Taivers released their highly anticipated debut album, A

Delicate Game, in January. A spokesman from event organisers CREEL said: ‘We are so excited they are going to be playing for us next month.’

Hailing from Scotland, England and Ireland, the fresh young band combine vocals with piano, fiddle and clarsach in their own compositions, as well as arrangements of traditional folk songs and tunes.

With CREEL’s last gig sold out, booking for this concert is recommended.
