A group of volunteers will be meeting for a ‘spring clean’ on Sunday May 7, from 2- 4pm at the new Town Team Hub, on the Parade.
All ages are welcome and jobs will be offered to suit. If you have problems travelling into town, Town Team can provide a pick-up service. Cups of tea/ coffee and homebaking will be provided, at the new HQ, after the finish.

A free writing workshop will take place at Fort William Library on Tuesday, May 9 from 2-3.30pm. The event is part of Nourish which is a public participation writing campaign organised by the Scottish Book Trust.

Staff and volunteers from Lochaber sensory care (LSC) for sight and hearing support are visiting Ardnamurchan on Monday May 8.
The LSC representatives will be based at Acharachle Medical Practice between 10.30am and 11.30am and at Dailmhor Care Home in Strontian from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
At each venue they will offer support and advice to those with a hearing loss or sight loss. The team members will also re-tube and maintain NHS hearing aids, and supply NHS batteries for these. No appointment necessary.
Push the Boat Out will take place at the Glencoe Boat Club on May 14 from 10am to 4pm.
Visitors will be able to experience yacht-keelboat- dinghy sailing, powerboat rides- demos, kayaking, archery. There will also be a barbecue, bouncy castle and stalls.

Rotary Club of Lochaber is holding a soup and sandwich lunch to raise funds for the End Polio Now programme.
