PO­LICE Scot­land has re­leased an im­age of the boat that miss­ing man Joachim Brolly was last seen get­ting into on Loch Awe on Thurs­day March 9.

Mr Brolly, 59, was seen at the Tor­ran Bay Hos­tel at the south end of Loch Awe at around 3pm, be­fore get­ting into his boat.

Of­fi­cers hope the im­age will help jog the memories of peo­ple who were in the area that day.

Mr Brolly is de­scribed as white, 5ft 6in tall, of medium build, with short grey hair and clean shaven. He was wear­ing navy trousers, a navy fleece and a navy jacket.

In­spec­tor Julie McLeish said: ‘ Ex­ten­sive searches in­volv­ing po­lice and fire ser­vices along with the coast­guard have been car­ried out in an at­tempt to lo­cate Mr Brolly.

‘Po­lice divers are still con­duct­ing searches in the loch and we would wel­come any new in­for­ma­tion. If you were in the area of Loch Awe on Thurs­day March 9 and may have seen Mr Brolly, or the boat, please get in touch.

‘ We would par­tic­u­larly like to speak to any­one who was out in a boat on Loch Awe that day.

‘Any­one with in­for­ma­tion is asked to con­tact of­fi­cers at Lochgilp­head Po­lice Sta­tion via 101.’

Po­lice hope this im­age of Joachim Brolly’s boat will jog the memories of peo­ple in Loch Awe on Thurs­day March 9.

Po­lice are still search­ing for Joachim Brolly who has been miss­ing for weeks.
