A PLANT and produce sale will be held in Lismore public Hall on May 27 to raise money for the Lismore Community Trust Fund.
It is an event where people can buy, sell or swap plants, seedlings, home produce and crafts. Teas, coffees and snacks will be available.
A retrospective exhibition of the work of artists Ted and Elizabeth Odling is also on at the Lismore Gaelic Heritage Centre on the Isle of Lismore until October 31.
Ted and Elizabeth lived and worked on the West Coast of Scotland throughout their careers of more than 50 years, and they spent the past 25 years of this time on Lismore Island. Their work covers a wide span including landscape and still life painting, murals, instrument making, and embroidery and quilts.
The Lismore Heritage Centre lies three miles from the Port Appin passenger ferry slip at Point and 2.5 miles from the Oban ferry slip at Achnacroish. The museum and cafe at the centre are open seven days a week from 11am to 4pm.
Many islanders attended the launch of the display of Ted and Elizabeth Odling’s art at the Gaelic Heritage Centre.
