Author to tour is­land schools

AUTHOR, il­lus­tra­tor and graphic nov­el­ist Laura Ellen An­der­son is set to visit schools in the Western Isles be­tween May 15 and 19.

Lon­don-based Laura is is the cre­ator of the pop­u­lar Evil

Em­peror Pen­guin graphic novel se­ries and the il­lus­tra­tor for many other books.

This tour will see Laura lead a be­spoke and in­ter­ac­tive comic work­shop for P4-7 and S1 pupils that fo­cuses on cre­at­ing comic char­ac­ters, plot and story boards.

The tour is spon­sored by Scot­tish Friendly As­sur­ance and or­gan­ised by Scot­tish Book Trust.
