OLI Health and Well­be­ing Fund open for ap­pli­ca­tions

OBAN, Lorn and the Isles Health and Well­be­ing Fund is open for ap­pli­ca­tions with the first clos­ing date set for May 31.

This lo­cal net­work de­volved bud­get has £21,131 ready to be dis­trib­uted in the Oban, Lorn and In­ner Isles area.

Last year projects in­cluded sup­port for young and old peo­ple, home­less ini­tia­tives, train­ing to build com­mu­nity ca­pac­ity and out­door ac­tiv­i­ties.

This fund is open to vol­un­tary and pub­lic sec­tor projects with a fo­cus on be­ing well. The aim is to im­prove the health of the pop­u­la­tion. Pri­or­ity will be given to ini­tia­tives that demon­strate re­duc­ing health in­equal­i­ties, break­ing down bar­ri­ers to par­tic­i­pa­tion.
