Event pro­motes work and life of church

AN EVENT to cel­e­brate the life and work of the church will take place in Fort Wil­liam on Sun­day.

Heart and Soul is a fes­ti­val which takes place in Princes Street Gar­dens, Ed­in­burgh.

Heart and Soul Lo­cal will take place at Fort Wil­liam Dun­cans­burgh Mac­in­tosh Church on the same day – Sun­day May 21. Tap­ping into a live web stream to fol­low some of the Ed­in­burgh events, there will also be lo­cal in­put, in­clud­ing mu­sic from the Duror and Glen­coe Praise band. Steve Aisthorpe will lead a sem­i­nar on ‘the in­vis­i­ble church’, and Out of the Box Pup­pets will be per­form­ing.

The live web stream from Ed­in­burgh will be­gin at 2pm, with lo­cal events from 3pm, and the clos­ing wor­ship, when we will join with thou­sands gath­er­ing at Princes Street Gar­dens at 5pm.

Lochaber Pres­bytery and its con­gre­ga­tions in­vite ev­ery­one to share in this cel­e­bra­tion.
