ART Lochaber is gear­ing up to host its an­nual ex­hi­bi­tion. The art work will be on show at Ben Ne­vis in­dus­trial es­tate from Satur­day May 27 to Wed­nes­day June 7, from 10am to 6pm daily. En­try to the ex­hi­bi­tion is free.

LOCHABER Schools Pipe Band and friends will be in con­cert next month. They will be per­form­ing at Lochaber High School on Wed­nes­day June 7 at 7pm, with spe­cial guests the Lochaber Gaelic Choir. Tick­ets are £5 for adults and £2 for chil­dren, with tea and cof­fee in­cluded. Tick­ets can be bought from Lochaber High School and band mem­bers.

STRA­MASH Nurs­ery will be hold­ing its fam­ily fun day this week­end. The event is on Satur­day May 27 will run from 11am un­til 3pm. Ev­ery­one is wel­come to join in the fun any time through­out the day. Car boot and craft ta­bles are avail­able for £10 and if you would like to book email cameron@stra­mash.org.uk. There will also be a bouncy cas­tle, raf­fle, beat the goalie, marsh­mal­low toast­ing, bak­ing stalls and much more.

LOCHABER Craft Fair will be on in the Dun­cans­burgh Mac­In­tosh Church to­day (Thurs­day May 25). The fair is be­ing held from 10am to 3pm with wooden crafts, choco­late, can­dles and tex­tiles in­spired by the High­lands on show. Head along to sup­port Lochaber’s craft pro­duc­ers. NETHER Lochaber will also be host­ing a craft fair in the vil­lage hall, Onich, on Satur­day May 27, from 10am to 4pm. Home­made cakes and jam, knit­ted crafts and cush­ions and jewellery will be avail­able, with soups and re­fresh­ments also on of­fer.

LOCHABER En­vi­ron­men­tal Group has teamed up with Off Beat Bikes to of­fer a free two-hour work­shop on bike main­te­nance and re­pair on Tuesday June 13 from 7pm to 9pm at its store on the High Street. This work­shop is open to all Lochaber res­i­dents, with the aim of giv­ing peo­ple the con­fi­dence to main­tain their bikes prop­erly and use their bikes more. THE Kil­mallie Com­mu­nity Cen­tre is host­ing an­other com­mu­nity gar­dens clean-up. The group is calling for gar­den­ers and vol­un­teers to help with the restora­tion of the site.
