Mini Pup­pets

PUPILS from P1 and 2 had great fun work­ing to­gether col­lab­o­ra­tively to make mini pup­pet the­atres out of card­board boxes as part of their re­cy­cling top­ics.

They are look­ing for­ward to learn­ing more about reusing and re­cy­cling dur­ing their school trip to Dun­staffnage Cas­tle along with P3G next month.

Ac­tion song at mu­sic fes­ti­val

THE SGOIL-ÀRAICH and Pri­mary 1 and 2 ex­celled them­selves in their ac­tion song per­for­mance when they par­tic­i­pated in the High­lands and Is­lands Mu­sic and Dance Fes­ti­val.

They are look­ing for­ward to per­form­ing it again at the Oban Mòd this week­end.

Ben Cru­achan class trip

PRI­MARY 4-7 en­joyed them­selves on their class trip to Ben Cru­achan. The class have been learn­ing about non-re­new­able and sus­tain­able en­ergy sources and their use in Scot­land today and in the fu­ture.

Deb­bie MacKay of BBC’s Ban­nan TV se­ries

THE CLASS have been busy pre­par­ing a Gaelic play, with the help of TV star Deb­bie MacKay, cen­tred on the Clear­ances. They are ea­ger to per­form it at the Oban Mòd on Satur­day (June 2).

Logo com­pe­ti­tion

THE SGOIL-ÀRAICH and Gaelic classes par­tic­i­pated in a logo com­pe­ti­tion to de­sign a logo for the Gaelic Pupil Coun­cil.

The coun­cil short­listed the en­tries to a win­ner from each class.

Pupils now have the op­por­tu­nity to vote for their favourite and the re­sults are ea­gerly awaited.
