Do you care? We can help
Carers Week 2017 runs from June 12-18
Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities.
Come and visit us at North Argyll Carers Centre and find out more of what we do to support carers across Oban, Lorn and the isles.
We currently offer ongoing one to one support, weekly coffee morning, therapies, counselling, support groups, social outings, respite opportunities, training and activities, a young carers service, and offer support to carers living in rural and remote areas. We can also offer Carer Support Plans to support you in your caring role.
During Carers Week we will be launching our Carers Photography Exhibition Who Cares? At Waterstones from 2pm on Monday June 12. We have our regular weekly coffee morning on Tuesday June 13 from 11am. On Wednesday June 14 we will have Heather Noller from Carers Trust talking about the new Carers Act and what it will mean for carers.
On Friday June 15 we will have a fi lm show of Mairi Fleck’s Trip to Nepal from 1.30pm.
If you or someone you know cares for someone, do get in contact and see how we can help you.
Everyone is welcome and our service is confidential.
