Scotland call-up for Bradbury brothers
FERGUS Bradbury (20) has been called up to the Scotland U20 Squad for the Junior World Cup in Georgia which started on Wednesday.
Scotland will play their pool matches in this prestigious competition in Kutaisi. They are placed in Pool B alongside Ireland, New Zealand and Italy. If they progress through the pool stages, further matches are to be played in Tblisi.
Fergus, a prop who can play at either loose or tight head, is currently studying Marine Biology at Stirling University and is a BT Academy player, playing in the Premier League with Stirling County RFC.
His brother Magnus (21) has been recalled into the full national squad for Scotland tour in June. They will play Italy in Singapore, Australia in Sydney and then Fiji in Suva. The back row player earned his first full international cap against Argentina last autumn and has fully recovered from a knee injury. Magnus has recently committed to a further threeyear contract with Edinburgh Rugby.
At the end of season with Edinburgh Rugby, Magnus was honoured with two awards from the club, namely best young player and most improved player.
Both started their rugby with Oban Lorne RFC and Oban High School, before moving to Merchiston Castle School in Edinburgh.
