Fusion Marine moves offices to Dunbeg

The Oban Times - - Districts -

FUSION Marine is moving its administration office from Barcaldine to new modern facilities at Malin House at the European Science Park in Dunbeg.

Fusion Marine will continue its manufacturing operation at Barcaldine and is in the process of recruiting an additional two staff for that site.

Moving the office premises will also benefit the local economy by freeing up space at Barcaldine for the new Scottish Sea Farms hatchery which is being developed there.

Stephen Divers, managing director of Fusion Marine, said: ‘This is great news for Fusion Marine and the European Science Park as it will aid the process of creating a cluster of marine expertise and knowledge at the site.

‘It also means that we will still be very close to our manufacturing base at Barcaldine by Loch Creran, where we are looking to expand the workforce further.’

The company currently employs 21 staff, with eight of those moving to the new office in Dunbeg at the end of June.
