Driver survives plunge into loch
A DRIVER has escaped serious injury after his car plunged into Loch Creran near Barcaldine on Tuesday.
Police were called at around 12.30pm after reports of a car in the sea loch off the A828 north of Oban.
When the emergency services attended, the driver was out of the water, having climbed to safety without serious injuries.
A police spokeswoman said: ‘Emergency services were at the scene. The male occupant of the car managed to get out. There are no serious injuries.’
Police inquiries continue.
