About 4pm on Tues­day May 30, on Dru­more Road, Oban, a man aged 22 was stopped and searched by po­lice. The man was al­legedly found to be in pos­ses­sion of di­amor­phine and mor­phine sul­phate. The man was charged with the of­fences and a re­port will be sub­mit­ted to the procu­ra­tor fis­cal.

About 3.40pm on Wed­nes­day May 31, on Dal­in­tart Drive, Oban, a man aged 27 was ar­rested af­ter al­legedly run­ning away from po­lice and ob­struct­ing of­fi­cers from search­ing him. The man was charged and a re­port will be sent to the procu­ra­tor fis­cal.

About 2.40pm on Fri­day June 2, fol­low­ing a re­port of a dis­tur­bance at a house in Columba Court, Oban, a 22-year- old man was ar­rested, he was later charged with abu­sive be­hav­iour and is­sued with a recorded po­lice warn­ing.

Be­tween 8am and 5.30pm on Fri­day June 2, at Marine Court, Dun­beg, a black Mazda car, was dam­aged by hav­ing the paint­work scratched. Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the in­ci­dent and are ap­peal­ing for any wit­nesses or any­one with any in­for­ma­tion to con­tact them.

About 12.15am on Satur­day June 3, at a pub in Oban, a man aged 22 was ar­rested for al­legedly re­fus­ing to leave the bar. The man then al­legedly re­sisted ar­rest and be­haved in an abu­sive man­ner. The man was charged and a re­port will be sub­mit­ted to the procu­ra­tor fis­cal.

About 12.40am on Sun­day June 4, in Shore Street, Oban, a 44-year- old man was ar­rested and charged with al­legedly as­sault­ing an­other man. The man was charged and held in cus­tody for court.

About 9pm on Sun­day June 4, in Aird’s Cres­cent, Oban, a man aged 18 was ar­rested for the al­leged theft of a car, driv­ing with­out In­sur­ance and fail­ing to pro­vide a breath spec­i­men. The man was charged and held in cus­tody for court.

Be­tween 9am on Thurs­day June 1 and 7.30pm on Sun­day June 4, a house at Ler­ags, Oban, was bro­ken in to an al­co­hol stolen.
