Sunday June 11
Beinn Dearg Mor – Big Red Hill - (709m) and Beinn na Caillich – Hill of the Old Woman - (732m), Isle of Skye.
Take the path from the B8083 which leads to Coire-chat-achan, then head NW up the steep hillside to the summit of Beinn na Caillich.
Follow the ridge west to Beinn Dearg Mhor and continue S around Coire Gorm to Beinn Dearg Bheag.
Descend the E ridge, cross the Allt Beinn Deirge and return to Coire-chat-achan and the path back to the road.
The walk is 11km, with an ascent of 1,020m. Suggested and co-ordinated by Andrew Gilbert.

Today (Thursday June 8)
Drimnin to Kinlochteacuis by Doirlinn, Lochaline. This is a through route, mostly on good tracks, with extensive views of the Sound of Mull, Loch Sunart, the Ardnamurchan Peninsula and Loch Teacuis.
Start from the end of the B849 at Port nam-Freumh, NM 557539, where limited parking is available. Head N in to the estate by the track with a public footpath sign and follow it to the gates of Drimnin Ho.
Turn right and follow the track N and E above Auliston Point and continue E to Doirlinn, passing the deserted villages of Portabhata and Sornagan.
Head SSE on rough ground in deciduous woodland to reach a pathEX at NM610579. Follow it S, over a fence, into a mixed woodland plantation. Soon after crossing the Allt Ghleann GudaEX the path joins a forest track. Follow the track SE, forking left to cross the river Barr on a bridge at NM619559.
Turn E and continue on the track, which leads SE close to the shore of Loch Teacuis just after Ard an Tiobairt.
Fork left to exit the forest at the head of Loch Teacuis and reach the end of the public road, NM656541. Transport required.
This is a moderate walk of 19Km, with a climb of 400m.
Meet at Corran Ferry slip for 9.15am sailing. Start of walk at 10.30am.

Saturday June 10
A’Bhuidheanach Bheag and Carn na Caim – Drumochter. A high-level route on the boundary of the Cairngorms National Park, with access mainly on tracks.
Start from the layby S of the snow gates on the E side of the A9, NN639823. Follow the A9 S for 200m and turn E onto a track.
Climb SE up the track to a junction just before a summit, 902m.
Take the right fork and head S on the trackEX which by-passes the summit of A’ Bhuidheanach, 879m, to reach a WP at NN6583478839 at the end of the track. Alternatively, head directly over this summit to reach the same WP.
Climb the slope S on a faint path to the summit of A’Bhuidheanach Bheag, 936m.
Retrace steps to the junction at the 902m summit. Take the right fork and follow the trackEX NNE, over a summit at 914m, to its end at another summit, 914mEX, NN668816.
Turn NE and head for the summit of Carn na Caim, 941m. Head directly W from the summit, down steep slopes, across the Allt Coire Uilleum, back to the A9. Alternatively retrace steps to rejoin the track back to the junction and descend NW to the A9.
This is a moderate walk of 18Km, climbing to a height of 803m
Meet at Fort William Woollen Mill NN112742 at 9.20am, with the walk starting at 10.30am.
